1. General Information

This document establishes the terms and conditions applicable to the occasional sale of the book “Where Comfort Ends” in printed or digital format (eBook/flipbook).
The sale is carried out directly by Claudia Palfi, the author, acting as a private individual without legal company status. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. How to Order

Via the order form available on the website;
By e-mail or direct message to the author.

An order becomes final only after confirmation by the author (by e-mail, phone, or message).

3. Payment Methods

Cash on delivery – payment is made directly to the courier upon receipt of the package (book + shipping fee);
Bank transfer – to the account provided by the author (shipping will take place after payment confirmation).

❌ Online card payments or cryptocurrency payments are not accepted.

4. Delivery

Delivery is made via express courier to the address provided by the buyer;
Shipping costs are covered by the buyer and paid directly to the courier;
Estimated delivery time: 1–3 business days from order confirmation;
The author is not responsible for delays caused by the courier company.
📌 In case of out-of-stock, the delivery time may be extended up to 4 weeks, and the buyer will be notified in advance.

5. Access to the Digital Version

Access is granted through a secure link and unique login details sent by e-mail;
Access is personal and non-transferable;
The content is protected by copyright law;
It is strictly prohibited to copy, distribute, or resell the content without the author’s written consent.

6. Returns and Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before shipping;
Return period: 14 calendar days;
Returned products must be in the same condition in which they were delivered. Products with physical alterations or damage will not be accepted;
Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer;
The right of return within 14 days applies only to customers who purchased products online from the website motorcycle-touring-romania.com;
For digital products (eBooks), no returns or refunds are accepted once the access password has been sent.

7. Copyright

The book “Where Comfort Ends” is protected by Law No. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.
Reproduction, copying, resale, or distribution without the author’s written consent is prohibited and may lead to civil or criminal liability under applicable legislation.

8. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data provided (name, address, phone number, e-mail) is used exclusively for processing and delivering orders.
This data is not sold or shared with third parties.
The buyer has the right to request the modification or deletion of their personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
