Romanian Motorcycle Builders

Dorin Racz, or Bebe, as everyone knows him, is a motorcycle builder from Campia Turzii, Transylvania, Romania. After winning every custom related competition in his home country, Bebe’s talent was recognized worldwide in 2016 at World Custom Bike Bulding Championsip, Intermot, in Cologne Germany.
 
The custom-bike championship is organized on several sections where the custom-bike builders show off their artwork.

El Lunes

At Freestyle section, Bebe revealed his project – El Lunes, a sportster motorbike from 2004. The motorcycle is a jewel on two wheels with an H-D Sportster 883 engine. Many of the motorbike parts are handmade.

From 20 motorcycles custom-made by experienced builders all over the world, El Lunes – won 6th place.  The result was not only a big success for the young motorcycle builder from the small Transylvanian town but also an international acknowledgment of the Romanian motorcycle builders, as no one knew anything about them until this moment.

Rise of Anarchy

Anarchy-Custom returned to AMD Championship in 2018 with Rise of Anarchy. Rise of Anarchy is a Harley Davidson XL 1000 motorcycle from 1973, built with handmade parts.  During the contest, this motorbike won the 9th place.

This World Championship displays over 100 motorcycles produced by over 80 competitors at each edition.

Intermot… very cool! Totally recommended! It is one of the biggest shows/fairs/motorcycle salons in Europe. For me, self-confidence is the greatest prize won after participating at Intermot. The cups are just tin grails…

In 2019 Rise of Anarchy won several awards, the most important in Zurich, Switzerland – Best of Show Cup, at a custom-builders championship organized by Swiss Custom.

World Championship 2020

Bebe works now in Sibiu, the Transylvanian city that becomes the base of the off-road motorcycle riders once a year throughout Red Bull Romaniacs Competition.

He is busy building a new project. This motorbike is still a surprize for the motorcycle world as he plans to display it at the World Championship organized this year in Germany.

This custom-made motorbike will be completely home-made, even the engine will be built in house, says the Romanian motorcycle builder.  
In 2020, Intermot Championship will take place between 7 to 11 October.

My inspiration?  I would lie if I would say where it comes from… the ideas simply appear; I can visualize the final product and I make it happen.

Up until now, Bebe has completed about 50 custom-made motorcycle projects. Depending on the complexity of each design and details, it can take from 3 months to 2 years to complete a custom-made motorcycle. The result is a spectacle.

Wheels for Life – Win a motorcycle donating for SMURD

Anarchy Custom tried to sustain the local project of the caring Beard Brothers Association. The plan intended to raise the amount necessary for purchasing a type C ambulance to be used by SMURD (Emergency units). Following a donation of minimum 25 euros, Beard Brothers Association in cooperation with Anarchy-Custom organized a lottery. The award was a motorcycle created by Anarchy-Custom.
